Lucy's Car Has Broken Down On A Country Road, Can You Lend A Hand?
Of all the places a car can break down, a country road in the middle of nowhere has to be the worst one.
No garage nearby. No signal on the phone. Nothing but fields in every direction and the occasional tractor rumbling past. That is exactly the situation Lucy found herself in. She had been driving home from somewhere, minding her own business, when the engine gave up and left her stranded.
Most people in her position would sit in the car and wait for help. Lucy did something else. She got out, she propped herself against the bonnet, and she made the most of being on a quiet road with nobody around to judge her. The camera that was with her that afternoon did the rest.
That is what we like about this set. It starts with an everyday inconvenience and turns into something completely different. A broken down car becomes a stage. A country road becomes a backdrop. And a girl who should be worrying about a tow truck is instead enjoying a moment of freedom that only a quiet English lane can offer.
